Questions

Frequently asked

If something is not covered here, email contact@retareserve.com and a person will answer it.

What does "research use only" mean?

The material is sold as a reagent for in vitro laboratory work. It is not a medicine, not a supplement, and not intended for administration to humans or animals. The compounds listed are investigational and have not been approved by the FDA, the EMA, or any other regulator, for any indication, in any territory.

We do not provide dosing guidance, protocols for human use, or advice on administration, and we will not do so if asked.

How should I store the powder?

Long term, −20 °C in the dark. Short term, 2–8 °C is fine. The bigger risk is moisture rather than temperature — the powder is hygroscopic, so let a vial reach room temperature before breaking the seal or condensation will form inside it.

And once reconstituted?

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C and treat it as short-dated. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles; if you need long storage, aliquot first and freeze the aliquots once.

Does the certificate cover the exact vial I receive?

Sometimes. Where the report names a batch number, that batch is printed on your label and the two match. Where it does not — which is the case for the current GL-RT report — it describes a sample from the same production run, not your individual vial. The certificates page states which applies for each compound.

Can I verify a certificate independently?

Yes, and you should. Each published report carries its verification key. Enter it at the testing laboratory's own portal and compare what they return against what we published. We deliberately do not intermediate that step.

How fast do orders ship?

Confirmed before 2pm Eastern on a business day, it goes out the same afternoon. After that, the next business day. Tracking is emailed when the label is created. Orders over $110 ship free.

Do you ship internationally?

To some destinations. Import rules for research chemicals vary and some territories are restricted outright. Restrictions are flagged at checkout before payment, and it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that receiving the material is lawful where they are.

Who is eligible to order?

Buyers must be 21 or over and purchasing for a laboratory, institution, or research setting. Checkout asks you to confirm both.

Something arrived wrong. What now?

Email within 14 days with the order number and photographs of the vial and label. Wrong fill weight, broken seal, or incorrect lot marking gets replaced or refunded. Opened vials cannot be returned.

Why is one product missing a certificate?

Because the assay for the current run has not come back yet. Rather than list it as tested, we mark it "CoA in progress" and hold it out of stock until the report arrives. That is the whole reason the badge exists.
